Somebody on another group (may be on here, not sure  ) showed a pic recently where they had put hooks on the fence and hung shells from them. Looked great

The babies love it when I hang ribbons and voile from the washing line.

I'm looking at redoing my garden too and so far on my plans I have:

guttering attached to fence for water play/rolling balls etc
weaving frames (bought already from tts)
more smelly herbs/lavender etc
mirrors (bought fairy shaped ones from mungai mirrors)
large silver ball
hang instruments or pans etc from a radiator airer I can hook over the fence
create a marble wall
add a large log for roleplay/ walking along etc
large scale wooden blocks (cut down from old wood, sanded and let the kids paint)
windchimes
twirly things
coloured perpsex sheets

I have just scavenged a lovely knarled big branch from the local woods that I am going to put in a pot to make a 'seasons tree' and I'll hang things we find like pinecones from it to let the children explore
