Good morning folks :)

I finally have mindees! YAY! :clapping:

They start on Wednesday and I am really excited :)

I am thinking about paperwork for them and finding that there isn't really a lot of information about good paperwork practices for children OLDER than the EYFS range (my youngest mindee has just turned 7) so am assuming at this point that there is no heavy focus on things like written obs and planning for this age range.

I would like to hear from any of you who mind (or have minded) older children and what your thoughts are on daily/weekly/ongoing etc paperwork, whether this be daily diaries or planning or whatever. I think it unlikely that I will be doing a learning journal for the eldest who is 13!!!

FYI they are 13, 12, 8 and 7.

Any help and input is greatly appreciated.

Congratulations on your mindees! :jump for joy:

I have no advice but I would also like to know the same thing. I don't think you have to have it but I think something like a diary where you put pictures etc would be nice.

Someone who knows will be along soon to answer.

I will close this thread as you have started the same question in another section and it gets confusing if people are replying in both :)
