Hello :)

I currently use my partners laptop to do all my child minding work, such as invoices, NVQ work etc etc

So was thinking of getting another laptop to use solely for my work, so just want to confirm its ok to put the full cost through my book as that is all it will be used for?

Also the children will use this second laptop as my partner is not too keen when they use expensive one!!!!

Thanks all :clapping:

If it is just for childmnding claim the lot - you can put it under expenses as long as you haven't gone over the assets amount which I think is £500 and if you have you will have to write it off over a couple of years (if this is the case see the IR website for details)
