New Mindee

Hi All

New to childminding and I finally have my first mindee, 4 month old LB starting next week. I'm a little nervous but he and his family are lovely.

Quick question though.....

How would you go about the weening stage (I know I have a few months yet), would you ask the parents to provide the food or would you provide it for him?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i have in my policy that i won't provide food for baby until fully weaned. parents provide the food so if there is an allergic reaction it's not your fault kind of thing and each family is different about weaning, some start earlier, give more, mash for longer........:thumbsup:

I only give babies food if it's fresh, if parents want them to have packet/jar food that's up to them to provide.
