Hi, I have just recently registered and have checked out my local minders they all charge £3.50 per hour and include meals, snacks entrance to toddlers etc. They have also never put prices up as i looked a few years ago for childcare.
I'm not entirely sure if this is worth doing so am intrested in what other people do , do you charge extra for meals and outings and how do you do this?
Thanks for any replies.

My children bring lunch boxes so meals aren't a problem with me.

I charge £3.50 per hr, this includes snacks, drinks, activities and most outings. On my contract I state that occasionally I may charge a small amount for larger outings. Parents are happy with this :D

I include nappies wipes snacks and meals if required in my fees. I will ask for a small amt towards larger outings but include soft play and toddlers.

I charge £4 hr or £30 day x

I've just started and charge £3.50ph seemed roughly average here, a few were £3 or £3.25 but nothing over £3.50, some include snacks but not lunch etc. I include snacks and lunch but charge extra if breakfast or dinner is required, not been asked yet. Mainly I wanted to include lunch cos as a parent it bugged me sorting packed lunch everyday lol, plus I have my own two so would rather they all got the same to save fighting.

I charge a day rate which works out at £4.5 per hour - includes everything apart from nappies, milk for babies and entrance fees for big outings to theme parks if we do that occasionally in hols etc. I provide everything else including food.

Is standard rate for area but lots of minders around here (Herts) charge for food, mileage, playgroup entry and everything. I just feel bad charging for all that when I think I charge a high hourly rate anyway.

I charge £3.75 ph this includes lunch and snacks. I will provide dinner if wanted but most go home for it. All my outings a included in the price, but if we were going somewhere really expensive i would ask for a small donation.

A friend also a cm in my town charges the smae as me but parents pay for all outings.

It's your business and you can charge whatever you feel is reasonable and include whatever yo decide.
