Reading late last night on the forum I saw that some of you put clothing and footwear that you use for childminding through your books. I'll be doing this the next time I buy work clothes.

I am interested in what else you may put through as business expenses that I have not thought about?

In general below is what I claim for:
food, drink, work stationary such as printer ink and paper, resources such as toys, equipment such as buggies and reins etc., mileage used for childminding (although I regularly forget what I have done and then do not put it in the books) and advertising.

Thanks

Just be aware that you can only put through business clothing/footwear - ie printed T shirts/fleeces etc etc with the name of your business on them - thats you ONLY use for business use and do not wear in your own time - with the exception of stuff like aprons for cooking of course.
