I've had an enquiry for a 3 year old, mum works at a school so only needs term time. Dad works shifts so childcare is only needed 3 of the 5 days a week but the days vary each week. To make it more confusing the lo is starting nursery in September, I will be taking and collecting lo. I have explained about charging when lo is at nursery and charging a retainer for the 2 unused days but as it is term time only and an under 5 space should I charge a retainer during the holidays as well? Does anyone else have term time only under 5s and what do you charge?

i have a few term time only children and as yet have not charged retainers as i always seem to fill school holidays with children who have left me and moved on to school. but prob a good idea to charge a retainer . i charge half fees when children attend playgroup during the minding day

i don't like to work school holidays so I would offer her retainer free term-time only contract but I would charge for 5 days.:)
