pre school book

My mindee is due to start pre school in september. I was thinking of over the holidays building a little book up for her to help with the transition. Explaining what to expect. I have a recent prospectus which shows some pics from the nursery- outdoor area, home corner etc so was goin to put them in, mention having own peg, finding name for register ,snack time etc. She's eager to go she's been with me everyday last year when we dropped off and picked up my daughter and every day she's wanted to go to the toilet! So I don't think it will be a daunting thing but thought it would be nice to look through. Has anyone any ideas to put in? I'd be very greatful!!!

That's a lovely idea!

You could set it out like a proper book, maybe in A5 format so the children can 'read' it themselves and look at the pictures.

Include things like...

here is the door

This is my teacher

These are the toilets

Here is the garden

We sit here for snack... etc :D
