help please

hi, i just posted off my CRBs and spoke to Ofsted to check the payment side of it, ( i was hearing allsorts and no knowing for definate)
i was told by people that the CRB are around 37 each, and then the £30 for registration.

however as i said i have spoken to Ofsted ad they told me, if i post a cheque for £30 along with the crbs then this will speed things up, as they have to recieve both payment and CRBs.

but they only want £30 for it all, (i.e both crb checks and my reg for year).

am i right, and is ofsted right, HAHA :blush: ( know silly Q but they lady did keep putting me hold to check things.)

really do not want to hold things up.

My understanding is that you send in your Ofsted forms and pay your Ofsted registration fee...

Ofsted then arrange to come out and see you.

While Ofsted are with you they do your CRB forms for everyone over 16 in the household and the inspector takes them away.

You then wait ...

At the moment we don't have to pay for our CRB checks - Ofsted arrange for them to be done.

ofsted are now asking you to send your crb forms in, instead of waiting for visit. :)
