Thats some discount you got there! That is my plan if they dare charge me £30! although I feel very grateful that it is just £30 max I can pay!

Mine cost £70.00 and took the Dr over 5 weeks to sign it. When I chased it up, after 5 weeks, was told it was still in his in box, funny how they cashed my cheque straight away though

I made an appointment with my doctor and just asked her to fill it in for free, she said sure and phoned me in 3 days to say it was done. I think the best bet is to ask the doctor direct dont deal with receptionists.

Just add my bit - mine £58
It really adds up doesn't it?
I was hoping to be up and running by now, earn some money, but still waiting for CRB check to clear (got 3 already).
Oh well.....:(
Mine was £75. I was told it is up to the dr to decide what they want to charge and would be approx £30. I complained twice but was told to pay or not get it back :-(

You are so right...it does add up! Money is so tight with me at the min it has annoyed me that these doctors think they charge what they like.
I am putting my plan into action next week ***Mission Sign Health Dec for Nothing Mr Doctor***
Hi,
Mine was £80 a few months ago - and after paying that he didn't fill it out right and ofsted had to chase him up - i have the most simple uncomplicated medical history ever!
I think doctors should only be allowed a set charge across the board as it seems to me that my doctor was making a big profit from completing my form!

mine is costing me £74. I handed it in 3 weeks ago, was called on Monday to be told the Dr that is filling it in is away this week and it could be another 2 weeks after that, that it will be ready:angry: Time is of the essence right now, so that makes it 5 weeks!
They said if it is charged along the lines of the medical people it could be more, but she promised that they stay to the surgery charges.

Crikey!!! If only eh!! They have done it so many times, surely it can't take more than 10 mins.....if that!?!?! They've only got to pop a record up on the screen & check the form surely? :(

I wish mine was that cheap, my doctor is charging me £97 for the check,  but because i have just moved to the area they dont have all my details yet so i also have to pay and extra £65 to get my medical records sent to him or he said i could be waiting between 4 - 6 months for my new doctors to revieve them. I told him i'd go and get them myself but i'm not allowed access to my own records. Whats that all about???!!!
I can't believe the amount they charge for signing a piece of paper. Shocking.

Hi, I nearly died when I was told the doctor had done mine and did I want to read it before they posted it and was I paying in cash or cheque. I asked how much because no-body had rang before hand. £35.00 no wonder no-body rang before hand!
