Hello
What do you put in your scrap books? I put art work, paintings etc. Photos of stuff we are up too i.e. trips to park, activities (we have just been looking at our senses so pics of these), fun outdoors (water play). Its basically so that the parents get to see what their little ones are up to etc.

I have learning journey books but you can use a scrap book if you prefer.

So long as it shows what the children have done, how that links to the Eyfs and ideas for next steps then it's on the right lines.

Comments from parents, from children, from other settings etc are all useful as well to show evidence of sharing and communication.

You might also include notes to show how the child's learning and development is progressing, that's something coming up regularly in Ofsted reports.

hth :D

Mine (or rather the children's) is in an A4 file, one for each child - roughly has the same as Sarah describes.

Doesn't matter what system you use - do what suits you best.
