SATS RESULTS - y2

I know there's a lot of debate about SATS, BUT I'm really chuffed that my son got: 3 for speaking/listening; 2A reading; 2B writing; 2A maths and a 2 for science.

That's great - you should be proud. Sats are an indication of a childs progress in just the same way as any other type of test so well done.

:clapping: fantastic excellent results. I know alot of people I've spoke to don't seem to be interested in yr2 stars as don't see them as important . My ds is in yr2 and we've always been concerned as he is the youngest in his yr (31st august ) so is the baby of the class:blush: he got his results a couple of weeks ago and got grade 3 for all areas. Like you we are soo proud. What clever children we have. We treated ds at the weekend . Can't believe they start juniors next year :eek: where has the year gone ???

Got my wee man's report today ... the teachers comments reduced me to tears but I am so proud of what he has achieved this last year and his SATS were were fab too .. and he's even spoken to his new teacher for next year ... major accomplishment!
