 Seems strange that you'd be limited by how many can fit in your car. Is that normal? Wouldn't you just not use your car on days you had more children?

i would have to use my car ever day as i live in the middle nowhere .we dont even have a shop or a pud and no buses service come out this far and i have to drive to school every day so i guess that why but i happy with that .all i have to do is get a bigger car :clapping: :clapping:

You could always invest in a coach :p

Congratulations! Have you got your eye on any particular type of car? I got a bit worried then as I haven't even got one!

I live pretty central and love walking though.

Yes we have got a few we are keeping an eye on but there mostly imports but at least there better spec .
we got a ford maverick but its getting old i could be a good time to change as i was told i my course the tax man normally expect starting childminders to invest in to a more practical car !
if i live in a town at least with a shop and my kids got picked up it wouldn't worry me ,as we like walking :D
their not to keen on taken young children on 3 mile hike just to go to a shop never mind the school run's

Congrats on your successful visit!

I can have up to 5 children as I have one of my own..I don't drive but am hoping to learn at some point when I can get a bit more money - but thankfully around where I live, I'm right in the centre of a set of shops, parks, toddler groups and library so right now I don't think it would be the end of the world x

thank you all:blush:
we had to move to the country due the fact house prices were a little cheaper at the time we moved .:)
good for you at least it wont hold you back we are a little stumped without a car around here sometimes like when we had that snow it was fun it brought back some good childhood memories :jump for joy: :jump for joy:
we even been advised to use the car to take the children to the park unless we us the old bridleway ( church lane ) but that would increase the distance to about 1mile and a half just to the park  not to bad for us and older children
