Me again....... I wouldn't get too bogged down with masses of planning, our day consists of;

AM. Welcome and 'freeflow' play
10.00 Register, Snack time, Story and listen to any news.
10.30ish, Planned activity based around our current topic....children join in if they wish.
11.45, 'Tidy up time' we all tidy up ready for lunch.
12.00 Lunch.
PM. Small group games and 1:1 time...children participate if they wish.
2.30 Story or dance (tumble tots)
3.30 Snack and chill out for after schoolies.

Our timetable is semi rigid, we do go to the park and to drop-ins to meet up with other childminders, but at home the mindies seem to thrive on consistancy

I do work alongside another childminder so 1:1 time is easier, but I just wanted to show you that you don't have to fill every minute...allow freeflow time, I'm sure you do, just don't panic about doing loads of planning :)
