And I'm going to see if our broody hen can hatch them. Looked at incubators and the cheapest automatic versions are over £100 :(
You tube has videos of chickens rearing ducklings, so I'll give it a try.

:laughing: My mum gave her chickens some turkey eggs and that was fine !

Lucky that ducklings 'cheep' the same as chicks, so they can fool the mother bird :p

just get THE BROODIEST hen ever and she won't care if king kong came out !!!!!

Ha,ha, our hen (Maran) is VERY broody, she has been sitting on eggs for over 6 weeks now :eek: I just keep taking a couple out each time from under her, she seems to have no sense of time.
Anyway, the eggs should be arriving in the post on Monday, then we'll see.
