Hello,

Could you tell me if that's allright.

I don't do plan or themes ( children are 24 months) but I have a weekly routine sheet ( mond morning play group X..tues friends group..)and some spider web with my weekly routine:
one topic play group : with CCL, PD, KUW,CD,PSRN,PSD
one topic park: CCL, PD....
one topic friends house...
one shopping............

And I show all the benefits of these activities/outings.

Is that enough or do I still need term planning, themes and indiv planning???

I also do obs and next steps but don't know how to show I did the next step??

never ending!
thank you

You do not need to do themed planning unless you choose to.

However for over 3s it is quite a useful way of showing that you have provided activiites for them that they enjoy, to follow their interests.

You should have some kind of long term planning in place just to show that you think globally and multiculturally as well as nearer to home - birthdays, faith events the children with you celebrate etc.

then you just need to show how the children's interests feed into your planning and their next steps... and how parents feed into it all as well.

Hth :D

thank you Sarah.
Do you think it is good to show the 6 learning development in my weekly routine ?
As I said before: learning area at pl group, at park...

I will write a long term planning then.
thank you

I link my routine to the Eyfs yes.

It only needs to be done once and then it's there unless something changes.

It helps to show just how much of the Eyfs we are already evidencing just by doing our normal things.

It can help you to focus on the bits you might be missing as well :D
