OMG someone on another forum i go on (not a childminding one!) has just posted this exact same link because she got 5 hens and that is what they are living in! How strange!

She got the hens for 50p each something to do with jamie oliver saving them or something. I was thinking what a bargain and thought hens would be great for childminding for the kids to help look after and collect eggs etc from. Think hubby would disagree though.

I have wanted chickens for ages but am a bit animal phobic! That looks fab. Did you read you get a chicken chauffeur to deliver them to you and you can even join the omlet forum! I am reading it out to my dh and he thinks I am telling him an April Fool joke

What a great idea... not sure how it would blend in with the football pitch though!

Might have to wait until ds is a little older!

If I get the big one for 10 hens. I will put :censored: hubby in it after the snoring that went on last night. He says he will think about it after summer holidays but actually thinking about the football thing now Sarah  Perhaps I could get little Liverpool shirts for the chickens then they could blend in with my boys. Take a video for Youve been framed - get £250 and put it towards the cost. Sorted

you are cruel posting this as I want to keep chickens as don't have any pets and think it would be great for mindees plus love eggs.

only 2 problems really
1. don';t like animals (not a problem as have Gary and he could deal with them lol)
2. not allowed to keep chickens according to our deeds of hte house

Id love one of those as well. We go through eggs like I dont know what. Bought a tray of 30 last Sunday and we have 8 left today.

Its a bit pricey but looks great. Have to sweet talk hubby in to buying it.

Wonder what the Care Commission would have to say about it.

Get one Rach then I can live my dream of The Good Life through you. Hubby is still not playing ball. Might be because I asked for a new printer today :p
