Saw this idea in DD2's comic and we are doing it today as I thought it would make walking the pupppy more fun for her
Colour the inside sections of an egg box a different colour (and decorate the rest of the box if you fancy it) and challenge the children to find an item of each colour to put in it on a nature walk. You do do it with letter sounds as well if teaching the alphabet. Stick a cut out letter in each section instead of colouring it and away you go :thumbsup:
