I'm about to start my degree as i'm wanting to become a social worker, and today in town i bumped into my mums boss (she works for social services) and as i know him so well he said i just have to let him know when i want to start doing some voluntary work to gain experience of working with social workers :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

That will help to gain some valuable experience to get through the degree, I care for children where the mum has done her final year twice and struggled getting suitable work placement this year to get the learning experiences she needed, so has deferred to the next academic year for the second time.
he has said i'm nuts :laughing: and not to work of our local social services but he knows i wont get on the masters course unless i do work experience :clapping:
