Hi , This is going to sound a really thick question im confused about the age of the child when you do an obervation .
If a child was 5 on the 20th of april and then you did an observation on the 15th of may would u put the age of the child down as 5 years 1 months or just 5 years .

Thanksx

hi

I normally put the children's ages down in months when doing any paper work on them. So I'd put 61 months .

I use years and months , so in this case I would put 5 years as they hae not reached 5 years and 1 month. I do also put their D.O.B. on obs too, so it would be obvious that they were 5 but birthday was in a few weeks. Everyone may have s lightly different view on this
