1 Mindee - Can I do an NVQ?

I am expecting a baby in August and have a little boy who is 2.5 years old, which leaves me with one f/t or 2 p/t vacancies for under 5! Can I still do an NVQ with my 2 children and 1/2 mindees?

dont see why not! my friend did obs for her dhc on own daughter as she didnt have mindees in early years age group.

just an idea, when I finished mine a friend of mine was doing hers, she had no children as she had moved area, she had one signed up 2 start who would sit on her lap if anyone was there, so I used to pop round with my lot, this wasn't a prob at all. Have you another childminder who could pop round for observations with their mindees?

I used to do that too with one of my CM friends. 2 of us would roll up with our children so she had at least 6 for group activities - that way if a few wandered off she still had a few left:laughing:
