What did you wish you'd known at the start about the registration process?
What do you wish you'd asked someone who'd been through it about?
What more could you have been told by Ofsted or your local people?

I wish I'd nown how long it would take and just how much CRBs could hold up the process. :angry:
I was under the impression the process would be very quick, however, my CRB took nearly eight weeks.

I would have liked to have known what paperwork the care commision were looking for, for 1st year inspection.

I would have liked to know how long it took.
it would be helpful if all counties had the same policy.Northumberland won't let you apply to ofsted until you have completed ICP course, which delays the whole process.
I'd have liked to have sent my forms off so crb could get cracking while I did my ICP.It took me from my briefing session in July 2009 until my registration came through March 2010.Origionally I was told process would take 3mths.
