My niece is having her 1st communion on Sat what do you buy for a communion pressie not really sure, any ideas (not too expensive) :D

These are lovely little keepsakes. You can get them cheaper and actual pebbles on ebay. Got some pebble ones for my frinds daughter's naming ceremony.(you can have one with their name on too)

We were really looking forward to it then my sis phoned tonight to say we cant get into the church cos there isnt enough room :( so can we just meet them at the pub for lunch after

I brought one of these dolls for my dd and she loved it. Still plays amazing grace now :thumbsup:

Just like when my children were christened and when they made their First Holy Communion they both got lots of photo frames and other ornaments including pens with First Holy Communion on which are very busy gathering dust in their bedrooms but lots of non catholic friends got them some very useful gifts at my suggestion when they asked and some of them plus family members gave money in cards which is now safe in bank accounts for them. I did let them have a set some of money to buy something with but the rest went into the bank for their futures just like mine and my siblings did followed by their children.

I hope this is food for thought -
