PLEASE!!!

I was all set to do the BA (hons) in social care

however

I stumbled across the BA (hons) in early childhood studies

NOW

I want to be a childrens social worker but i might not always want to work with kids, so i'm looking to do the most flexible,

here is the link to the 2 degrees

with either of the courses i'd need to do a masters in social work, but which one would you pick to give the most flexibility?????

if you are def. going down the social work route I'd go with the social care route for most flexibility - for work with adults they might insist on this rather than the early years background.

However, doing the early years degree would give you more flexibility to change your mind at masters stage if you wanted to - you could still go on to social work in early years or go into something completely different and early years related.

I'm only saying that because I've changed my mind about 3 times (whilst doing FD/third year) about what I want to do. I wanted to teach/do family support or work in children's centre/become childminding d.o. or childminder training.

Depends how definite you are about the future hon.
