smoke alarm detector

good afternoon everyone
i recieved the pre registretion paper work a week ago and start to fill it
and now i just done the fire safety seck of the house and would like to know for the new childminder just registered in scotland if you have change you smoke alarm detector for the hard wired one or have you just kept the one you have got one fit already
we rant the house and would like to know if i need to contact my landord or not about that thank you very much

My understanding is that CC expect to see a hard wired smoke detector.

However I would check with your local fire brigade - they usually offer free household checks and they will give you lots of information and advice.
