Messy Play Idea

Hi,

I'm probably about 10 years behind everyone else, but I just thought I would share my latest thing with you all.

We have recently replaced our turtle sandpit for the Little Tikes sand and water combi so they can stand and play instead of having to sit in or on the floor on those wet days. I was wondering what to use the Turtle for and instead of having a second sand pit we use it for a paddling pool/water play (it has a lid which I secure with bungee cord so I don't have to re-fill each day), cornflour, gloop, shaving foam, gelibaff, compost, ice cubes, potions, saw dust, paper shredding ......all sorts. Its great, because they can all fit round and even get their feet in for extra fun.

I had a hippo in the same style as your turtle and the lid broke, so now we keep up the side of the shed for water play. Its full at the moment as my own Ds and a 9 year old mindie wanted it filled up.

oooo was going to throw mine away but cant wait to fill it with gloop - all that gloop just for me :blush:
