I saw these wrist ribbons/ streamers in an education catalogue for 2 for £10:eek: plus p&p. So i went to the recycling store and got loads of material and made my own:D KIds love them and they cost next to nothing. I'm on a roll, does any of you lovely ladies that i'm meeting in Manchester want any?
They are similar to photo below...will put on a real photo when i can summon up the energy to get my bum out of the chair and find the camera Lol!

i made something similar with large wooden rings and ribbon, they cost me about ~£2.00 to make and they sell them for lots more it makes you sick how much they charge.

I've found instructions on how to make them!!!! I would never have thought of using toilet roll/kitchen roll for the handles!

Beccas, where did you get your large wooden rings from?

what a good idea, but I think the stiffer tubes from the inside of tinfoil or clingfilm would be even better than a toilet/kitchen roll tube.

I made something similar with the bendy scoobie type bangles and tied ribbon to them, the children loved them

Hi Hunny, i used duck tape! I cut a 12'' piece, folded over three times on its self to make a thinner strip. Folded it over to make a loop and then I stapled the material/ ribbon to it then wrapped another strip of duck tape around the stapled area to secure it all. Hope that helps!
