With my 1st ofsted inspection due in next couple of weeks I'm beginning to panic!!:panic:

What planning do I need to do for 9 month olds?

I have a sheet at the front of their daily diaries with childs interest, my planning ideas and a space for family to write a comment.
I complete this at the beginning of the week based on previous weeks notes.

I have daily plans to include school runs, meal times toy time etc, and a yearly form with ideas of festivals on.

What age will I need to start doing themed activities?

Sorry for all the questions.

hi i would just do a very loose planning as its too hard to plan for under 2s providing you can prove your covering all 6 areas and they are progressing by doing individual planning i wouldnt do to much take lots of photos link them do obs next steps which is used for individual planning, dont worry to much about themes they are to young, you could ie st georges day draw a dragon and let them paint using hands, .:)

Just general loose planning as has been said. So long as you can show that you have the toys and other equipment to bring on their development which is correct for their age then you will be fine. I know its a big document but the practical guidance to the EYFS is great at suggestions for next steps etc.
