would you do an observation on a babys first day?

at the start of the day she didnt know how to pull the string on a toy that play nursery rhymes, but by the end she had worked out how to do it.

would you write an obs on that? and what would your nexts steps be?

im very unsure what to write

thanks xxxxxxxxxxx

For the first few days, I just do base line obs, to get to know what the child can/can't do and what stages they are at.
Then I start their ob's after that.

Sarah is the beat one to ask on this, I am sure she will be along soon.
