How many of you use Facebook to advertise ???

How many of you actulally do use facebook , is this acceptable ??

it's no different to advertising in a shop window :thumbsup:

if you plan to use photos of mindees have a specific FACEBOOK PHOTO PERMISSION FORM :D

:laughing: as i was reported to police for using photos, long story but as i had permission i was ok'd :thumbsup:

I just pop that I'm a childminder on my info page with a link to my site but I want to keep business and friends separate really so don't advertise or have a group as don't want parents adding me as friends.

I can see what your point with that but couldnt some parents you have on facebook be potential parents that may need childcare

Im not sure now you have said that as i would like to keep my private life just that ........although i was friends with my own cm and we were fbook friends anyway .Maybe if i actually finished my website off i could advertise there where i am ready and link it up as you said .

Although she would never put pics on facebook she would send them to me phone/email and i would upload them as its somthing that she would not do .

Registered childminder and babysitting service

Not got any new mindees from it, though as I have got loads of feedback from existing parents, new parents like the site as it "Looks very professional" and they love the feedback page

I had decided to do one but then it links back to my facebook page and I wanted that to be seperate. So I decided to take it back off again.

Think its down to personal choice

i put pics of mindees on and tag there parents but i have permission and my profiel is locked and i am freinds with all my facebook freinds they are not strangers or peopl i went toschool with years ago and not seen since..:) and my forum friends i class a sgood friends as i know they are all childminders and trustworthy.

I have put a link to my website on my FB page but thats it. I dont want a group on there for the whole keeping business and social life seperate. I doubt it will get me any business throught FB though as all my friends are SAHMs or already love their childcare providers. Good for them to pass on though!
BTW I love the name brighter beginings and can I steal the messy play poem please???? I LOVE it and want to include some poems etc in my parent pack and on my notice boards!

Ooh I've just had a good look at your facebook page (please forgive me for being nosey :blush: ) and I love the photos! And thanks to you I've just ordered a Crayola Glow Station after seeing it on your photos - it looks fab!!! I must stop spending money!!!! :laughing:
