hi just had a visit from my social worker some one that visited me and a had no room for her child made a complain saying i had two fierce dogs. they say that a doberman is not a family pet. so i show the social worker were my dogs are when i have kids so the kids can not get to them ,unless they unlocked the backdoor, unlock the padlock , when have to unlock the shed door and take padlock off. so they told him i have to put a 5ft fence up between the child and the dogs. or send the dog away.

Oh that's a hard decision for you to make... I suppose the social services are only doing what they think is right - they can't get emotional when they are considering a child's safety.

What do you think you will do? I suppose the fence is the best option... I hope you manage to work this one out.

Thinking about you xx

Sounds like a fence would be the best option here so they know you are doing everything in your power to keep the children safe

Good luck with this let us know what happens
