Adhoc obs planning etc

Not sure if I'm in the right place apologies if not :blush:

I have a 16mth old on an adhoc contract

I have had her 3 wks for 6hrs one day a wk
2 wks for 4 hrs one day a wk last wk for 3 hrs
and nothing now for 2 wks

How do we go about obs and planning etc when we don't know when we'll be having them nxt or how long we'll have them for?

Wishing I'd not agreed to adhoc as don't know what I'm doing from one day to the nxt now :(

Oh well at least I've got her and she's so entertaining

It's hard when children are part time like this... but at least you can show huge progression between visits!

I would say work closely with parents, make sure you are noting their comments about how her likes / dislikes / favourite toys etc are changing.

Then follow her interests and show you are doing that on your paperwork.

Her learning journey might be thinner than others, but you can bulk it out with photos or if she's artistic pop lots of pictures in.
