Aarrrgh! CRBs!!!

Hi all,

Thought everything was moving along well with CRB checks, but NO!

Have contacted one police force who have done my checks and DDs as well and said it won't be long until hubby's is done.
Have just rang the other police force where I used to live who have informed me that they've only had it for a couple of weeks and because they have up to 60 days to do it in they won't even look at it for another few weeks.

Feel like I'm stuck in limbo at the moment.

Was going to start advertising but don't think there's much point now.

I had this, took over 5 months to get my CRB's back, mainly cos I used to live in London, that one took forever.

Mine was the same....social service checks held mine up .....so frustrating!

That exact same thing happened to me the place im living now completed their police checks for both hubby and me in 5 days but the other police force where I used to live it took them 10weeks and they were not prepared to do mine any quicker they advised they had 60days and they took over that.

Fingers crossed yours is quicker than mine
