Thought what with everyone doing topics about Spring it would be a good idea if we all put our ideas together so they are all in one place
Do any of you have anything to share ?
What about making lambs with the children?
You will need:
Paper
Glue
Cotton wool
Collage materials
Googly eyes
Activity:
Give each child a piece of paper and a selection of collage materials to choose from. They can glue the cotton wool or other collage materials onto the paper to make a lamb. Once this is finished the children can glue on some googly eyes, and leave their pictures to dry, before displaying the lambs as part of a spring display
If completing this activity with young children you may wish to only use cotton wool or offer a more limited range of collage materials. However older children can be encouraged to source their own collage materials and cut them to size themselves to suit their own needs.
Areas of learning covered:
Knowledge and understanding of the world
Creative development
Physical development
Some ideas here that you could adapt
