Signing up?

This might sound abit daft but how do you approach the yes or no when a parent comes to visit?

I've only had 2 and the 1st was fine cos mum was still waiting on a job interview so nothing to decide untill she actually got the job. But with the second visit i didnt dare mention 'signing up' even when she'd asked for her to settle in the following week, i didnt want to seem pushy, but then had to rush doing contracts etc on first day.

So all you people that get people signed up on 1st visit how does that flow?

i do a introduction meeting general chat answering there questions chatting to lo then show them around show ofsted folder which i keep everythink in which isnt private then show them certificates insurance etc and give them

a welcome pack. and leave it for them to think about unless i no them then would do contracts etc then. 2nd visit i would do contracts info etc. then if not immediate start arrange a few settling in periods. i also always do 4weeks settling in. so if at any time it doesnt work either way no notice is needed. hope this helps.
