hi i was wondering if anyone could help on how to set your planning out as i have never done any planning just done what the children have wanted to do but was told ofsted like to see some planning
any help would be great

Planning can be as simple as the 'next steps' after an observation
The EYFS grids have lots of ideas on of next steps
From there you can build upon this, ie a childs interests - they like cars so you can build a theme around cars using the EYFS headings
Sarah707 has some good e-books on planning.
Remember though - all good planning can go astray as you follow a childs interests and head in a completely different direction

The key with planning to start with is to find out what the child enjoys doing and go with that!
Which is probably what you are doing already... you just need to write it down :D
