Animal or Insect Fancy Dress

I have to take 3 toddlers (18 months, 19 months and 2 yrs 10 mths) to a fancy dress session on Thursday with the theme of animals or insects.

Any ideas how to do it easily and cheaply? The 18 month old is my mindee and I am not sure if she will even dress up (the other two are mine and like dressing up).

You could just dress the 18 month old in all black or white and pin a tail on them......instant sheep with the bonus that they don't even realise they are in fancy dress!

red top, red legging ,stick black circles on go as lady birds.... make head band with straws and black pom poms stuck on.....

fancy dress is easy for me before i became a childminder i use to work at home making childrens costumes so have quite a few patterns...

homebargains have cheap bunny and chick suits 3.99
or get t-shirt and tights pink or yellow make your own sheep/chick decorate with feltpens craft bits.
