My normal working hours are 8.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday and I charge £3.20 per hour.

Anything out of these hours (including weekends/bank holidays) is £5.20 per hour.

Did my pricing like this as I thought it would be easier!

Saturdays are charged at double time as i view it as overtime. i have 3 boys of my own so if im going to work on the weekend it would need to be worth my while.

I used to work all day on saturdays i charged £5 ph but really regreted it! i only minded the one child and it took up what should have been a peaceful day so gave notice:blush: , as i was working 52 hours a week:eek: I hope i will never be in the position where I will need to work a saturday again

I offer saturdays but they are not regular (only two a month per familly) and I charge double time £7  Don't mind doing them in winter, but in summer we go camping at the drop of a hat and my husband would not like it if I was minding on a sunny Saturday and we could have gone off somewhere.

I don't particularly want to work Saturday so I charge double time.

I would charge double my hourly rate of £3.75 so £7.50. I've had siblings at weekends and don't like to ask for £7.50 x 2 so I charge £10 for both of them.

I'm going to charge double for weekends. I don't mind working them since I don't have kids of my own and my partner is usually at work on a weekend.
