Hey,

i've been registered for ages now and still no mindees so I am on a major advertising mission this weekend. Any ideas??

So far I've...

Put an ad on the local netmums childcare board
Printed a load of flyers and me and DH are going to do them tomorrow in the local area (think we've printed about 300)
Put an ad up in the local co-op
Got DH to put a poster up on his works message board
Put a poster in my window saying I'm a childminder
Going to a toddler group every day and mentioning I'm a childminder and giving cards out to interested people

I'm going to ring the local childrens centre and schools on monday to see if I can advertise through them. They are attached to each other and are less than 5 mins from me so would be ideal.

Anything else you can think of? I'm desperate. DH says if I havent found a mindee by Easter I have to go back to work! They keep asking for me to go back and I keep resisting even though we need the money!

Thanks. Didnt realise it was free to do that. I've just put an ad on yell.com.

Think I'll print off a load of posters and do the rounds of local businesses on Monday afternoon!

You lot are brilliant! Thanks!!!
