emercency care question

Hi there

I have just had a call to look after 3 children next week for a few hours emergency cover as a one off. This will be my first job :) as I haven't got any mindees yet. Panic panic! :panic: my mind has gone blank and can't think what i am supposed to do.

I am not seeing them until they drop the children off with me at 7.30. Am i supposed to do anything with regard paperwork?

Shall I enter them in the child attendance book? Do the parents have to sign anything?

i'd be really grateful if anyone can help, I have rung my chilminding network team ncma who are not around today and callng me back on monday.

Yes, do a contract for each child, parents to sign
Permissions
child record forms
sign the children in

Is there no way you can pop to their house over the weekend, introduce yourself, meet them, sign up the paperwork etc
