Start up grants?

By chance when I called the local childcare partnership the other day they asked if I had applied for my start up grant. I haven;t cos I knew nothing about it, so they have sent me the forms out. Only thing is there is nothing to say how much you can apply for? So am just wondering how much people normally apply for, don't want to seem greedy. Also, I'm thinking the main thing I need is some out door toys and also some stuff for older kids, my own two are 1 and 3 so I have loads of stuff for that age but nothing for any school kids. So, is there anything you could recommend for that age group?

Id ring them and ask.
ours was about £270 i think , but once the costs of the doctors certificate and ncma startup pack came off there was little left , enough for a first aid kit and some bark chippings .
