OMG - my electric and gas bill have just come in together.....
£208 for gas and £124 for electricity!! :eek: :eek: :eek:
i am not a happy bunny - got to list a few bits on ebay to pay for that little lump! :(

Mine was £364 for gas!! :angry: Ive now gone on a prepayment meter to see if i can save some money.

wow that's alot. I am with Southern and we pay £94 for gas and £156 for leccy!!!it's a wonder I ain't bankrupt having to pay all that each month!

Mine was £524 for the last quarter but I did have my heat and light on for 24 hours a day due to the cold and snow

mine was about £500 too...we had ours on 24 hours too. But we didnt freeze and neither did the pipes..

no when i dont have mindees i turn the heating off and put on another jumper...

We've just had our council tax bill through £2400. Our gas/electric is about £170 mnthly.

Don't u pay more per unit though? My friends pay newly twice what I do on their meters.

We have to use 6 large gas cylinders to heat the house and a 'bank' of 3 costs £120 and so far this winter we've had to change them 5 times, so that is £600 just for the central heating :eek:
We don't even have it on at night, but there is no gas supply here, oil is even more, I would so love to get a wood pellet burner, a neighbour still uses a boiler powered by coal.

Mine is due 22nd of this month, I am dreading it!! Because I pay by direct debit they only send a statement out once every 6 months which I dont like :angry:
