Erm I'm not sure what to suggest really.

My DD is only 20mths so a long way off turning 12.

Have you asked him what he'd like to do?

My ds had a Kayaking party last year, it was only about £7.00 each and a maximum of 8 kids and we brought our own food. Don't know if there's anything like that near you but they all said it was the best party ever! It was a miserable rainy day too, but that apparently added to the experience:huh:

Do you have a dry ski slope near you?

We did snow tubing (sitting in a big inflatable doughnut) at ours for my son's 10th party, it was fab!

Our ice rink had a disco 8 to 11 for young people.

What about a climbing wall party, we have one near us.

Indoor water park with slides etc.

Camping outdoors with a camp fire and sausages.

Cinema trip.

We have the dry ski slope near us and they also have a toboggan run, which is Fab.

They do kids parties there and are pretty reasonable.

Also what about hiring a hall and a DJ then you can have a disco, we did this for my sons 10th birthday.

discussed with him what he wants i told him about all options even go karting one in next town to us but he wants to go laser quest but this is £150 min as its £15 per child and then min of 10 children!!!! and its not exclusive. but as he says its not just laser quest its better its called lock n load ..

suggest this to your son and see!! i spend up to a particular amount on presents / parties. the cheaper the party the more presents. if he wants laserquest then he will get less presents , let him decide. hes old enough to understand the value of things now as well at 12.
