I'm writing the Equality of Opportunities Policy. The EYFS statutory requirements states that the policy should include "arrangements for reviewing, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of inclusive practices".

I understand what this means, I've stated in the policy that all children will be included in all activities and given extra support/resources if required but how do I reword the above for my policy?

Do an audit and review your findings twice a year.

sorry that was a bit curt, if you look online you can probably find an audit you can alter for your setting and it will help you look clearly at all the issues involved. You can plan a review 6 or 12 monthly to see if anything has changed. :)

Thanks, I think I've finished it now. I just want to understand everything I am writing down in the policies in case Ofsted ever ask me. I can't just copy other peoples, I have to make sure that all the guidance points in the EYFS are covered.
