Oh i hate it when the children have to dress up!!!!
DD has to go to school dressed up as something science related as they have science week this week. I have no idea what to do other than a lab coat, which i dont have, just looked in the wardrobe to see if DH has a plain white shirt i could maybe try to fashion into a lab coat, but no luck, and now my mind has gone blank.
Any one got any ideas?

How about a robot? or os that not serious science enough :laughing:
cardboard box, wrapped in tin foil with buttons and gadgets stuck on made from egg boxes etc.

How about going as a cell - all in the same colour with a big coloured blob as a nucleus and other organelles depending on age. Or a plant, or a leaf, or metal - wrapped in tin foil, or lots of different materials - a bit like a floating or sinking experiment. Or a bunsen burner - or lots of pictures of lab apparatus cut out and stuck on to him with a pair of goggles?

Mmm that's a hard one ... I can ask at work tomorrow for ideas, work in the pharmaceutical industry ... I may be able to get a pair of safety specs and disposable white coat for you ... how old is DD?

How about a Skeleton, or a cloud, sunshine, bunsen burner, test tube, petri dish, the periodic table, a butterfly, anything of nature

or with some paper mache balls on - made into planets - she could be a solar system and her face could be the sun?:D

I'm dreading these dress up days! I'm useless at this kind of thing, poor ds doesn't stand a chance! Ha!
