What would next steps be from this?
X was colouring a picture and said this crayon like Daddy old car, I said the same colour? He said yeh like black one makes noise like chhhh!!

possibly teaching him colours or sounds??????

Maybe toys cars, cars with noises - discuss other vehicles and their noises.
Maybe colouring in with pictures of cars using lots of colours.
You could use toy cars roll the wheels in paint and drive across paper in lots of different colours.

Places like Asda usually have toy cars for well under £1. Could you take him to find a car like Daddy has? You could make tracks with the wheels pushing it through sand.
