angeldelight

What gets your blood boiling?

What can really get you annoyed ?

Drivers - men or women?

Men picking their noses when in the car and stopped at traffic lights?

Men leaving the toilet seat up ?

A pile of dirty clothes in your teens bedroom when you have just finished all the washing?

Standing at the checkout waiting for someone to count out a few pounds all in change - when you are in a rush

The list goes on and on and on

What are your pet hates ?

People walking into my house with their shoes on and ignoring my no shoes policy

Dare4Distance
05-03-2010, 11:53 AM
Bad grammar.

Old people who think that just because they have a small dog and I do too, it means I want to have a conversation with them about dogs. I'M JUST TRYING TO WALK HER, LEAVE ME ALONE!

People who can't control their kids, or their dogs for that matter haha.

Oooo this one really get to me. You know when you're walking along a path and you see someone in front so you get to the side? And then they see you and move to THE SAME SIDE!!! Making you have to move out of their way. ***! Why? It's just rude.

And, people with pushchairs walking side by side taking up the whole path so I have to walk on the road to get past them

Definitely top of my list is inconsiderate dog owners who don't pick up their dogs mess. We walk up to school with a possee of children and its a nightmare steering them round the poo.

Football fans at a match who spend ninety minutes baiting and singing obscenities at the opposition's fans and are not the slightest bit bothered about watching the match.

Uncle Bens Rice:laughing: not in my house!

Bandwagons in general. Everyone wearing the same brand of boots? What's that about?

Children that pretend not to have heard me!!!!

Most TV adverts.

I could go on and on. I'm just Mrs very angry. Must be my age.Grumpy old bag today.

People who talk too loud in public about themselves (boasting).

People who squash rubbish into the bin so that they don't have to empty it and leave it to the next person who uses it, who then can hardly pull the bin liner out.

People who take a new toilet roll out of the cupboard and leave it on the cistern instead of the holder.

People who use public toilets and don't leave them as they would expect to find them.

Dog mess on the pavement

People who talk very loudly into their mobile phones in an attempt to sound important

Attention seekers

Liars

Attention seeking liars  (I had a boss once, right, who was the MOST outrageous liar!! He told us he got cancer by saving Colin Powell's life (Powell is a top military advisor in USA) when he knocked Col. Powell out of the way of a laser beam:rolleyes:. And he was always boasting about this ex-girlfriend of his who was a minor celebrity. He was going on and on once about this photo album he had of memeories and I asked to see it (knowing he was a total BSer) and he came up with the most obvious fan photo I had ever seen, of him standing next to her at some autograph function or something.)

Ignorance. People who entrench themselves into an argument like a 2 year old even when they are clearly wrong.

Being talked down to. GRRR! That really makes my blood boil.

When I come in from work on a Friday and hubby (who has been working from home all day) asks me in a snotty voice 'So are we going to eat tonight?' :censored:

My real big pet hate when I'm working is cars parked on the pavement and I am forced to walk in the road with double buggy!!

All that have been mentioned already - Plus

1) Lazy husbands who when they have days off stay up on their beds without their clothes on browsing the internet then when poor auld wifey finishes work @ 6.00pm moans about the state of the hse n their own chilodren have had nothing to eat.

2) Lazy teenage children whose rooms are like war zones that spill out onto the landing then think its ok to leave their dirty washing on the bathroom & landing floors when they have a shower. Who on top of all that don't lift a finger round the hse, or willingly do their homework but then have the blasted cheek to milk me for money and treat me like a free taxi.

3) People eating crisps or apples or slurping hot drinks while on the phone (except when people are told that they will be called back as you are at a meal and they continue to talk - then they get what they deserve!!!)

4) Actually this is probably one of my biggest pet hates - People who mis-pronounce words in a bid to sound posh!!!!! e.g. those who pronounce the 'L' in almond - its silent!!! - There are loads of these for all those Mrs Buckets out there!!

5) People who don't treat their kids when they have nits

6) Adults with dirty finger nails (not so bad for kiddies if they have just been playing outside and are cleaned soon after)

7) Anyone with dirty toe nails

8) Pet lovers who feel that you should tolderate their animal near you because you visit their house.

9) People who don't flush the toilet & dirty toilets!!!!

All in all you can see I am a very tolerant person.

Then when the child repeats it they get a hard slap around the head

I have seen this a number of times and wish I had the guts to go up and slap the parent

In this day and age there is no excuse for it.

I used to have an ironing lady who was recommended to me and she and her husband smoked in the room while she was smoking and you know the smell on my clothes was that real old person smoke smell but I was ill at the time and just couldn't do my own ironing (or anything else at the time) but what really upset me most about it was not that my, DH's or eve DS's (aged two at the time) clothes stank but that DD's (aged 4-6mths) clothes stank - The first thing I did once I started to feel well again was my ironing. I really really felt guilty that my DD stank of smoke.

My DH smokes but never in the house at all or in the car when we are in it but he smokes in the car with the window open when we aren't there he even drives along with the fag out the window but it still really peeves me because when I drive it my hands stink of fags when I get out.

So there we go now that I've added this and some others have added more since I last posted and they all really annoy me too - I've discovered that I must be one of the most intollerant people in the world!!!!

people who eat with their mouths open making revolting noises

parents who whine at their children when they want them to do something or to stop doing something

2 faced people

people who say things, or agree to things, just to stroke peoples egos when they don't really mean it

People who say 'I'm not racist but' and then come out with a totally racist comment

old people who think they have the right to be rude and push younger people out of the way

old people who get on a bus when they can clearly see it's full and then expect me with two toddlers on my lap to get up and give them a seat.

Kids (or adults) who expect everything right NOW

kids (or adults) who whine constantly

being ignored when I ask politely for somebody not to do something (or indeed to do something)

people who allow my pup to jump up and then hold onto his paws when I'm telling him 'down' all the while telling me that they are dog people and they don't mind (I do mind!)

TBH there's loads, I'm a right miserable cow these days :(

I know exactly what you mean  Also, people who just walk up to my dog and pick him up  or say things like "Oh I could just put him in my handbag" Next time someone with a child says that I'm going to reply with "And I could probably fit your child in a suitcase but it's not really the done thing is it?"

I wish more dog owners were like you, one of my pet hates is people who let their dog come charging up to me and jump up with their muddy paws, when I try to step away they say "he won't hurt you" or "he's only being friendly", they expect you to think their little darling is lovely and you should be glad to have them jump all over you.

People who do not supervise their children when out shopping
Yesterday I saw a toddler get hurt on an escalator when mum was to busy tyring to get the empty buggy down and completely oblivious to her child walking behind and falling down :panic: - What is wrong with strapping the child in the pushchair and using the lift? arrrrrrrggggghhhhh
Also in the supermarket a toddler standing on the seat in the trolley

Was in Tesco on Friday and bumped into our friendly community police lady and she asked me how things were going cos she hadnt had a call from me lately. Just hope I havent spoken too soon.
