hi all,
can you apply for the CRB checks before doing the childminding course? to save the waiting? or am i being over eager?!

your being over eager iam afraid!! we wish u could do that! as soon as u have your inspection the inspector will sign the crb fors and send them off. I can tell u though that they now have a 4 week turnaround to complete crbs (90% of te time) :)

The reason they do it after the course is because so many people used to drop out and they ended up wasting money.:rolleyes:

Its also to make sure that u are suitable whe they come out and do the pre reg inspection aswell, because we dont have to pay for it or of anyone else who lives in your house over the age of 16. so its worth the wait for that reason BUT only that reason because they are rather expensive !!!
