Egg People

A fun activity for children at Easter is to decorate hard-boiled eggs.

Make hats from egg cartons, empty toilet rolls and odds and ends like feathers, cotton wool, lace and ribbon.

You can make plaits from wool and draw on the eggs with black and red felt pens

I have got a stupid question about this now so please don't laugh! I've never done egg people!

Do you just hard boil the eggs or do you somehow get the egg out of the shell? Is this really silly? It is, isn't it! Sorry, I honestly don't know how you prepare the eggs!

Hard boil it and leave it in the shell :) another thing to put on my list of Easter activities for next week, thanks Angel

There were some plastic eggs for decorating in poundland today - they'd go well with this! :D

Every year at school the littlees do this activity as a competition and then they get to roll their creations down the playground slopes!
