had a lady due to come round Monday with her little boy but had to cancel as really was not very well. I said I'd ring her later in the week to re arange a appointment,just really not the first impression i wanted to give so annoying the most annoying thing is I'm hardly ever ill, like once in year, oh well we'll see
I did that too and the same as you hardly ever ill, however they did turn up for 2nd appointment.
Dont feel too hard she should realise it cant be helped.

You'll be surprised....give her a call and explain about being ill, and would she like to re arrange?

That's just typical isn't it!
Definitely give her a ring and explain, have you got references from other parents you can show her so she can see you are reliable?

she came round today and think it went really well she was really nice so was baby very settled. and was talking about settling in sessions which is promising but she is a play annalist at the local hospital which is a bit scary as she'll know more about my job than i do she was also a nanny for 10 years ! so fingers crossed

i really wouldnt worry about it you will do things so much different and its how you care for her lo thats important and im sure it will be exceptional:laughing: hope it works out:jump for joy:

My first mindee started yesterday and when her mum came to visit she said she wanted me within the first 10 mins which was great, i know i wouldnt have slept that night if she had kep me waiting!!
